Welcome to Connec(TX)ions Dance Festival Summer Intensive! During this week, we will offer 6 days of professional & pre-professional class & seminar offerings at First Street Studio. The week will culminate with performances by Texas-based professional dance companies on Friday and Saturday evenings with prelude performances by Texas-based pre-professional dance companies.
CTXDF PERFORMANCES & GALA
Friday, May 31st & Saturday, June 1st
CTXDF will feature two professional performances. Friday night’s performance will showcase Texas-based professional dance companies as well as some select pre-professional dance companies, offering young dancers the opportunity to share the stage with professional dancers. Saturday night’s performance will feature the CTXDF Gala, a closing-night celebration that spotlights select Texas-based professional dance companies, followed by a social with signature cocktails!

About Connec(TX)ions Dance Fest Intensive Workshops
Calling all professional and pre-professional dancers, join us for the Connec(tx)ions Dance Festival Intensive Workshop. CONNECT and support other artists, as we grow together in this immersive dance workshop experience. Dancers will study and explore ballet, modern, and contemporary techniques and movement principles, as well as professional repertoire with a faculty of professional dancers and directors.
Who?
Current professional dancers of any dance background; must show proof of professional or collegiate experience.
Current pre-professional dancers ages 13+ with 3+ years of pre-professional training. For pointe classes, dancers must have 2+ years of pointe training.
